Q1.How
is EIE different from other English learning institutes?
EIE provides comprehensive
services that are unrivalled in the industry. Not
only do we conduct thorough pre-course assessment
and testing, our client service representatives
also contact learners and HR personnel regularly
to make certain students are satisfied. In each
class we provide initial, midterm, and final feedback,
and teachers evaluate and record student progress continuously
throughout the courses.
EIE teachers also implement special teaching methodologies
that guarantee learners’ improvement, including
effectively correcting students’ grammar and
pronunciation, reinforce new materials, and strategically using visual aids and white board as needed.
Q2.Are
the teachers qualified to teach corporate English?
EIE personnel are very selective when it comes
to teachers. All our teachers have at least three
years of corporate teaching experience or have
internationally recognized teaching qualifications
such as TESOL, TEFL, RSA, DELTA or CELTA. Each
teacher must also achieve a high satisfaction
level during demo teaching sessions before they
are selected as part of the EIE team.
Q3.What
language levels are the courses appropriate for?
Virtually all EIE courses are designed for learners
of all levels, including special courses such
as Business Meetings, Presentations, and Teleconferencing.
One of our services is to perform a pre-course
level assessment for each candidate, and place
individuals in levels that correspond to their
testing results.
Q4.How
do I know which course is right for me?
EIE representatives always perform a "needs" assessment
with each client at the initial stage of contact,
and will recommend courses accordingly. Clients
are also asked to fill out a Course Design Questionnaire
to help us determine courses that are most appropriate
for different learners.
Q5.How
much opportunity do I have for practice in class?
Classes are usually limited to 10-12 students,
in both corporate and individual training environments,
and all our teachers encourage students to practice.
Students get plenty of opportunity to express
their opinions in class with the instructor’s
guidance, and role-playing and presentations are
often part of the regular curriculum in each course.
Q6.How
long is each class?
EIE representatives always perform a ˇ§needsˇ¨ assessment with each client at the initial stage of contact, and will recommend courses accordingly. Clients are also asked to fill out a Course Design Questionnaire to help us determine courses that are most appropriate for different learners.
